Kutnia
Gunseli Turkay and Selen Sahin are the designers behind Kutnia, an up-and-coming Turkish label. Their goal: to modernize the heritage and artistry of Turkish design, preserving the traditional while staying current with ever-evolving trends.
In addition to gorgeous silk prints inspired by the mosaics in Turkey's Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Kutnia brings us traditional kutnu fabric. This luxe woven blend of silk and cotton dates back to the Ottoman Empire, originating from the city of Gaziantep. Each piece woven by a kutnu master bears his or her unique signature, with singular sections transformed into completed creations.
