Shabeeg
Shabeeg, which translates to “tee” in Armenian, is a contemporary label designed by Mary Sukiasyan to honor the art and heritage of her native Armenia. It is known for its prints and patterns, which feature historical figures and elements of traditional Armenian dress called “taraz." Each highly conceptualized and ornamental design is illustrated and digitized by hand.
Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Shabeeg is known internationally through participation in Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days, CMP Moscow, Pitti SUPER Milano, and Oriflame Fashion Weekend Yerevan.
